Premier League title contenders Manchester City and Chelsea are keeping close tabs on Bologna youngster Amadou Diawara, according to Corriere di Bologna.
The 18-year-old was only handed his first team debut in August after impressing during the loan spell with San Marino Calcio, but he has since seen his stock rise a great deal.
Diawara went on to nail down a regular starting berth in Roberto Donadoni’s side, making a total of 15 Serie A appearances this season.
His performances clearly did not go unnoticed as top Italian sides have begun to cast admiring glances his way, while leading Premier League clubs are believed to be keen as well.
Corriere di Bologna claims that Manchester City and Chelsea are both closely monitoring the midfielder’s services and they could even make their interest concrete in the winter transfer window.
The Citizens have been made 11/8 favourites to lift the Premiership trophy, while the Blues are 80/1 shot after the dismal start.
