Man City close in on Correia

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Premier League champions Manchester City are edging closer and closer towards completing the signing of Felix Correia from Sporting Lisbon. The youngster is said to be on his way to Manchester as we speak, with a five year deal being lined up for him. The transfer fee could rise to as high as £3.1 million, but given the nature of today’s market, that could easily prove to be the bargain of the decade if Correia can live up to the hype. City consider him to be someone with a great deal of potential, but due to his age, they are seemingly already planning on shipping him out on loan next season.

City already have an insanely strong squad, but it’s good for fans to realise that Pep Guardiola is still thinking about the future and what direction the club is going to go in over the course of the next few years – and beyond.
