According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Manchester City are relaxed about the current situation regarding Kevin de Bruyne’s contract.
The Belgian has yet to put pen to paper on a new deal, even with the proposal being on the table, although there doesn’t appear to be all too much panic about whether or not it’s going to happen. KDB has already committed himself to the club until 2023 but neither side are in a rush for him to officially agree to an extension.
Belgian media are of the belief that he will not sign based on the terms that are currently being offered to him, which could serve as a problem in the next few transfer windows.
Either way, though, you can bet City are going to do everything in their power to ensure he remains at the Etihad for as long as possible – because at the age of just 29, he still has a whole lot more to give.
