German daily newspaper Bild understands that Manchester City are showing interest in RB Leipzig midfielder Erik Majetschak.
The talented youngster starred for Germany at the Under-17 European Championship in Croatia back in May, making 7 appearances and scoring 2 goals.
Manchester City scouts were clearly impressed with his performances and they are set to continue watching Majetschak in action.
With his contract running until June 2018, the Citizens could soon come forward with an official proposal, and it is believed the Bundesliga high-flyers would consider selling their prized asset only if Man City prospect Jadon Sancho moves in the opposite direction.
Meanwhile, reports in Spain claim that Barcelona are interested in Majetschak’s teammate Nicolas-Gerrit Kuhn.
