The Daily Mirror is reporting that Manchester City are ready to offer Bayern Munich defender Joshua Kimmich an escape route from Allianz Arena.
The highly rated footballer has now revealed that he is unhappy with the lack of playing time and his former manager Pep Guardiola is ready to act.
It is no secret that the Spaniard plans to seriously reinforce the back line in the summer and he will attempt to recruit the versatile footballer at the end of the season.
It was under Guardiola that Kimmich made a name for himself, operating as a holding midfielder, central defender and right-back.
He has however struggled for regular first team action since the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti, spending under 45 minutes on the pitch in Bayern’s last five fixtures.
Chances are that the Bavarians will not be ready to sell their hot prospect considering that both Xabi Alonso and Philipp Lahm will retire at the end of the current campaign.
