Premier League giants Manchester City are weighing up summer bid for Sporting CP goalkeeper Rui Patricio, according to A Bola.
New manager Pep Guardiola aims to sign a new number one seeing that he is not a big fan of Joe Hart and the Portugal hotshot has emerged as his top target.
The Citizens could soon come forward with an official proposal and even though Sporting CP are not too keen on selling their prized possession, it is believed they would consider offers in the region of €20 million.
Rui Patricio has so far resisted temptation to leave the Lions for greener pastures, but this is probably the perfect time to cash in on his impressive performances.
Namely, the 28-year-old produced a string of excellent displays to help Portugal lift the Euro 2016 title and he was especially impressive in the extra time win over France in the final.
