The Guardian is reporting that Manchester City are ready to make a move on Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
The Bavarians coach Pep Guardiola has agreed to take over the reigns at Etihad Stadium and it appears that he will attempt to bring a couple of players with him to Manchester.
According to The Guardian, Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara is high on his wish list as Guardiola wants him to act as a replacement for Yaya Toure, who is almost certain to leave in the summer.
Manchester City will start the bidding at £25 million, but chances are the Bavarians will demand more for their star player.
Guardiola has already taken Thiago Alcantara from Barcelona to Bayern Munich and he will now attempt to bring him to Man City as well.
The 24-year-old has featured in 44 Bundesliga matches since joining from Camp Nou, scoring 4 goals in the process.
