Manchester City are weighing up summer bid for Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos, according to AS.
New coach Pep Guardiola will be reportedly given €200 million for new signings when he takes over from Manuel Pellegrini, and he has already started looking for potential reinforcements.
AS has learned that the Spaniard is keen on luring Toni Kroos to Etihad Stadium, and has communicated his wish to sporting director Txiki Begiristain.
While Real Madrid officials will not be too keen on selling their prized asset, they would probably consider a big money offer for his services.
Meanwhile, Kroos himself recently identified Guardiola as the best coach he had ever worked with, meaning there is a chance the duo will be reunited in England.
The Germany hotshot has a deal until June 2020 worth €5.5 million per campaign, and no doubt that Man City will attempt to persuade him to join by offering him a significantly higher wage.
