The Daily Mirror is reporting that Manchester City are hot on the trail of Serie A scoring sensation Andrea Belotti.
The 23-year-old currently leads the Serie A goalscoring charts with 22 goals in 24 appearances, and his excellent showings did not go unnoticed.
Real Madrid, Arsenal and Chelsea are believed to be keeping close tabs on the Italy international, while Manchester City appear to have joined the race as well.
The Citizens could stay without Sergio Aguero at the end of the season and they seem to have set their sights on Belotti.
Having recently signed a new deal with Torino, the highly rated striker now has a €100m release clause in his contract and he could very well become one of world’s most expensive footballers.
Andrea Belotti has also impressed on international stage, bagging three goals in as many 2018 World Cup qualifying matches for the Azzurri.
