Man City join chase for Mouctar Diakhaby

Manchester City are keeping close tabs on Lyon starlet Mouctar Diakhaby, according to SFR Sport.

The 20-year-old showed a great deal of potential in his maiden Ligue 1 campaign, starting 22 games and scoring 1 goal.

But, even though he has only made four league appearances this season, Diakhaby is still held in high regard by top European clubs.

After Barcelona expressed their interest, it has now been revealed that Manchester City are also keen.

The Citizens plan to further improve their defensive options in the summer and Diakhaby is one of the players they are looking at.

Following the outstanding start to the new league campaign, Manchester City are priced at 1/6 to lift the Premier League trophy.
