Radio Monte Carlo claims that Manchester City have emerged as frontrunners to sign Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.
With the Chilean’s contract due to expire in June, the Gunners seem to have decided to cash in on him in the winter transfer window.
And while Paris Saint-Germain were hoping to sign Sanchez on a free transfer, Manchester City now appear to be in pole position.
Unlike the Saints, the Citizens would be happy to pay top dollar to get their man in January, whereas they also want to get revenge on the French giants for missing out on Dani Alves last summer.
Man City officials have already discussed personal terms with Sanchez’s representatives, although they also need to find an agreement with Arsenal.
