Premier League giants Manchester City are weighing up a bid for Torino full-back Bruno Peres, according to Tuttosport.
With long-serving right-back Pablo Zabaleta set to quit Etihad Stadium, the Citizens are searching for his replacement and they appear to have made the Brazilian defender their primary target.
Tuttosport claims that the player has already asked the club chiefs to be allowed to move on this summer, with Man City closing in on a €20 million deal.
Following some very good displays in Serie A, Bruno Peres has been linked with just about every top club in Italy, but Torino’s high valuation proved to be a stumbling block.
Nevertheless, they should be quite happy with the offer that should arrive from Manchester City, meaning a summer exit is on the cards.
The Citizens will be hoping to mount a serious title challenge next season and they can be backed at 9/4 to lift the Premiership trophy.
