Man City make contact over Isco

According to AS, Manchester City have formally made contact with Real Madrid as they move closer and closer towards bringing him to the Etihad. Isco hasn’t exactly been happy at the Bernabeu this season, especially since Solari has come into the picture. He’s only made one start since the new management regime began, and City appear to be willing to offer him something a little bit more stable.

City have had their eye on him dating all the way back to his days with Malaga, and now, they appear to be more than willing to pull the trigger. If anyone is going to be able to get the best out of him it seems like Pep Guardiola would be the man to do so, especially given his track record.

If the deal does go through, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not it happens in January or whether they wait it out until the summer transfer window.
