According to a recent report from Record, Manchester City have offered Joao Felix a contract that is believed to be worth over £26 million. They are said to be interested in snapping him up during the summer transfer window, but of course, that is also the case for a number of other top European sides. The 19 year old has a release clause of around £105 million, with city rivals Manchester United being one of the many, many other top clubs that want to go after his services. Felix has had quite the impact during his most recent season with Benfica, in which he was able to break out and prove to the world that he is a world class youngster.
City already have phenomenal depth within their squad, but even with that being the case, Pep Guardiola probably won’t be able to resist the urge to add another high profile name to their ranks.
