Martin Odegaard is playing the best season of his career so far. The Real Madrid midfielder is on loan at Real Sociedad and that has been working out pretty well for him. He has been both scoring goals and creating them for others, with some of the assists being truly amazing.
Straight away, numerous clubs were linked with the player for a potential transfer, seeing the possibility to sign him if Real Madrid are not interested to keep him in the first team. One of the teams that was mentioned in this conversation were Manchester City, but the reports are suggesting they are not going to chase the Norwegian star.
According to Manchester Even News, Man City sources insist they are not keen on signing Odegaard any time soon, and for several reasons. One of them is the great number of choices in Pep Guardiola’s squad, but the most obvious one is Phil Foden, who is primed to step up into the first team.
