Man City raise bid for Cancelo

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester City have raised their bid for Juventus defender Joao Cancelo to £50 million – which is a figure that Juventus are more than interested in. City are going to sell Danilo first though in order to make room for Cancelo, who would almost certainly be a featured member of the first team for that kind of figure.

Cancelo is widely considered to be one of the most interesting Portuguese stars in the game today, to the point where many are tipping him to be a really important part of the national team’s plans moving forward. In addition to that, he could prove to be the puzzle piece that confirms City’s status as one of the leading contenders in the race to win the Champions League next season.

If not, then at the very least he will be one of the best defenders in the Premier League.
