Manchester City might be in some late transfer market action. The transfer window will end for Premier League clubs just before their domestic campaign kicks off and should the champions lose one of their players, they will be ready to respond.
AS are reporting that if Leroy Sane in the end leaves and joins Bayern Munich, Manchester City will be ready to trigger Real Sociedad star Mikel Oyarzabal’s release clause. The Spanish media outlet claim the release clause is set at €75m and that is definitely something they could pay for him.
Reportedly, City are worried Sane could return to Germany and move to Bayern who have been proactive in trying to sign the winger. In that case, Oyarzabal would be Pep Guardiola’s first choice to replace him. Bayern would have to pay handsomely if they are to get Sane, which would give enough firing power to Man City to spend big on Oyarzabal.
