Man City reject bid for Sane

According to a recent report from The Guardian, Manchester City have turned down an offer of around €80 million from Bayern Munich for winger Leroy Sane. The German champions are said to be very interested in bringing the 23 year old to the club, especially given Ribery and Robben’s respective departures. The two veterans will be leaving quite the hole in Bayern’s squad, and someone like Sane seems like he could be the perfect fit. It’s well known that Sane doesn’t really fit into the system that Pep Guardiola has created at the Etihad, but even with that being the case, you would think he is still a great option to have within your ranks.

Either way it feels like we’re still quite some distance off of a deal coming to fruition and being confirmed, so for now, all we can do is speculate and wonder what comes next for both clubs.
