Man City set for new shopping spree

The Daily Mirror claims that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is planning a heavy recruitment in the January transfer window.

The Citizens spent around £175 million on new recruits in the summer and they could reportedly spend close to that amount in the next window.

Namely, Pep Guardiola wants to bring Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Leonardo Bonucci and Hector Bellerin to Etihad Stadium, and it is believed it would take at least £150 million to succeed in his quest.

Reports from England suggest that the Spanish full-back is ready to snub a new contract offer from Arsenal as he hopes to join Manchester City, but luring the other two footballers is likely to prove a more difficult task.

Both Aubameyang and Bonucci are not only considered crucial members of their respective squads, but are followed by a number of top European clubs, meaning the Citizens could face stiff competition for the two stars.
