German media outlet Bild understands that Manchester City are on the verge of signing German winger Leroy Sane from Schalke.
The Citizens have already added Ilkay Gundogan, Nolito and Oleksandr Zinchenko to their ranks this summer, and they are close to recruiting the Germany starlet as well.
Bild has learned that the player has already agreed a four-year deal with Man City, while the Citizens plan to submit a €55 million bid that is likely to be accepted by Schalke.
Leroy Sane is widely regarded as one of Germany’s hottest prospects and new Man City manager Pep Guardiola has apparently been impressed with the youngster’s performances in German Bundesliga.
After netting 8 goals in 33 league outings for the Miners, the 20-year-old was included in Joachim Low’s Euro 2016 squad and he went on to make a brief substitute appearance in the semi-final defeat to hosts France.
