Man City still want Cancelo

According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Manchester City still have a strong interest in completing the signing of Juventus defender Joao Cancelo, despite the fact that there is a good chance they’ll be unable to agree on a move for Danilo. Maurizio Sarri has made it known that Cancelo is going to be available for sale during the current summer transfer window, but another report is suggesting that City will only make an official move if Danilo ends up leaving. It seems very much like one of those sagas that is going to be dragged out throughout the entirety of the summer, and even if it isn’t, there almost certainly won’t be a deal agreed upon within the next few weeks.

As is the case with the majority of big transfers in the modern era, we’ll just have to sit back and wait to see what comes of it all.
