Manchester City striker Kelvin Etuhu was charged with wounding and assaulting on Tuesday following an incident outside a casino here in February.
The 22-year-old, who has made 10 Premier League appearances for City, is accused of assault, causing actual bodily harm, and wounding with intent following an incident outside Manchester 235 Casino on February 27.
Two men, aged 24 and 26, and a 23-year-old woman were taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary for treatment to injuries following the fight.
Etuhu and another man, Rico Richards, who is charged with the same offences, have been bailed and will appear in court on August 6.
The Nigerian-born Etuhu came through the Manchester City youth system and made his debut in 2007. He then spent time on loan in the second tier with Leicester City and, last season, with Cardiff City.
His brother Dickson Etuhu plays for Premier League side Fulham and Nigeria.
