According to a recent report from A Bola, Manchester City are well and truly prepared to sell Gabriel Jesus in the summer transfer window. The purpose behind this departure would be for them to make room for Joao Felix, who they are said to be very interested in. The Benfica sensation has had a remarkable break-out season with the Portuguese club, to the point where a parade of top European sides are sniffing around in an attempt to sign him. City, though, would certainly have the resources necessary to make it happen, although some have questioned just how much time he’d get in the starting XI.
Jesus has been an integral member of City’s first team for a while now, but as is the nature of football, Felix is the new kid on the block and he’s already getting a lot of attention.
Perhaps he’ll want to stay and fight for his place, but that may not be up to him.
