Man City want Griezmann?

Those are the words of Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, who has confirmed that the club are not going to be going after Antoine Griezmann – however, a report from Sport says differently. Many fans had been expecting Barcelona to be the ones who land the Frenchman, but it doesn’t seem as if that’s a guarantee anymore. The 28 year old has announced that he will indeed be leaving Atletico, but the club might prefer to have him move to City in order to stop Barca from getting stronger in their quest to retain the La Liga title. City are willing to pay the £108 million fee in order to trigger his release clause, but it’s all going to come down to where Griezmann wants to move.
