According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United have agreed to personal terms with Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes. The fee, however, has yet to be agreed, with the Red Devils reportedly being short of the £50 million valuation that has been put on the midfielder. A series of clubs across European football have been trying to make a move for Fernandes over the course of the last few months, but now, it seems as if United are the ones who have won the race.
This will serve as exactly the boost United need, as they continue to go in search of some more attacking stars. The expectation is that Paul Pogba will be leaving the club this summer, too, meaning that the Portuguese star could help to fill the void left by the Frenchman.
Either way, it should be an interesting few days – if not weeks – for all parties involved.
