Man United bid £84m for Koulibaly

According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Manchester United have launched an £84 million bid for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly. The belief is that United consider him to be one of their prime targets ahead of the summer transfer window, and are going to be putting a great deal of money into going after him. Koulibaly has long since been viewed as one of the most intriguing and exciting defenders in European football, and now, United seem to be making some real progress in going after him. The club are in desperate need of a few more big names ahead of next season, following a campaign in which they were unable to make any kind of substantial waves. Napoli, on the other hand, will be desperate to keep hold of Koulibaly, especially seeing as they want to try and mount another serious challenge in the race for the Serie A title.
