According to a recent report from Manchester Evening News, sources from within Manchester United believe that the club is very confident in their chances of bringing James Maddison over to Old Trafford during next summer’s transfer window. The youngster is said to be the perfect age for the club’s new philosophy, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer prepares to try and sign some youthful players that could help him turn things around at the club.
Either way United need to make some changes pretty soon, because if they don’t, there’s a very good chance Ole could get the sack sooner rather than later.
Maddison has done a wonderful job of breaking into Leicester’s first team, and given that the Foxes are in the hunt for a spot in Europe, we can’t imagine they’ll be entertaining the idea of him leaving at this moment in time.
Next summer, however, could be a different story entirely.
