Man United doesn’t interest de Ligt

According to a recent report from AS, moving to Manchester United is not the intention of Matthijs de Ligt during the upcoming summer transfer window. The Red Devils are said to be prepared to offer £250,000 a week to the young defender in order to try and lure him to Old Trafford. It doesn’t seem likely to happen, though, as de Ligt is ‘determined’ to join Barcelona this summer. The teenage sensation has been heavily linked with a move away from Ajax for the majority of the season, after helping to guide the club to the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League. Juventus are the other club that have voiced their interest in signing him, but it appears as if de Ligt would rather join his teammate Frenkie de Jong in making the switch over to the Nou Camp.

Ironically enough, de Ligt could be set to go up against some of his proposed future teammates if both Barca and Ajax end up reaching the Champions League final this week.
