Manchester United are closely monitoring the situation with Slavia Prague’s Abdallah Sima, according to Manchester Evening News.
The 19-year-old, who recently earned his first cap as a senior international with Senegal, has so far scored 19 goals and assisted further six in 35 appearances for the Czech club in all competitions this season. He was previously scouted by Arsenal, who witnessed his talents first-hand in the first leg of their Europa League quarterfinal clash at the Emirates, though he remained an unused substitute in the second.
Sima is a versatile attacker playing predominantly on the right flank, but with Amad Dialo and Facundo Pellistri, both right wingers, already in their ranks, United would expect Sima to develop into the central attacking role in the future.
United previously targeted players a bit further down the road in terms of development, aged between 23 and 28, but their focus has now apparently shifted on attracting highly-rated teenagers from across the world.
