Man United eyeing Enzo Perez
Manchester United are keeping close tabs on Benfica hotshot Enzo Perez, reports Portuguese daily newspaper O Jogo.
The Red Devils are in desperate need of midfield reinforcements and they have been linked with Sporting Lisbon starlet William Carvalho.
According to O Jogo, the Premier League side are showing interest in another Primeira Liga player as they are reportedly keen on Benfica’s Enzo Perez.
Manchester United scouts watched the midfielder in action several times this season and they are convinced the Argentine has what it takes to succeed at Old Trafford.
Enzo Perez, 28, has developed into a key player at Estadio da Luz and has so far scored 7 goals in 56 league appearances for the Eagles.
He formed an excellent midfielder partnership with Chelsea star Nemanja Matic last season and he could be following the Serbian footballer to the English Premier League in the summer.
Bilbao starlet on Bayern radar
German newspaper Kicker is reporting that Bayern Munich are readying summer bid for Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte.
The Bavarians splashed the cash on los Leones star Javi Martinez last summer and they look set to make a move on another Basque player.
Kicker has learned that Bayern are prepared to offer up to €36 million for Athletic Bilbao centre-back Aymeric Laporte.
Pep Guardiola has reportedly been impressed by the French defender and he is keen to lure him to Alianz Arena at the earliest opportunity.
Despite his fragile age, the 19-year-old is already considered a key member of the squad at New San Mames, having made 30 La Liga appearances this season and scored 2 goals.
Laporte has been showing incredible maturity for his age, while his impressive technical qualities make him a perfect fit for Bayern Munich.
The Bavarians face nine-time winners Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals and they are 4/6 to qualify for the final.
Juventus in new assault on Nani
Juventus are considering a fresh assault on Manchester United winger Nani, according to Tuttosport.
The Portuguese midfielder has been on Antonio Conte’s wish list for over two years now and the Bianconeri boss believes he can finally lure him to Turin.
Conte is determined to sign players with Champions League experience as he wants his side to play an important role in Europe’s elite competition next term and the Portugal international clearly fits the bill.
Nani is looking to leave Old Trafford in search of first team football having seen little playing time under new boss David Moyes.
And with not too many top clubs currently showing interest in the player’s services, it is believed he would jump at the opportunity to join the Italian giants.
Nani has spent last seven years at Old Trafford, making a total of 144 Premier League appearances and scoring 25 goals.
