Manchester United are interested in signing Andre Onana from Ajax, according to Mirror.
Like most of the players from the team that won the Eredivisie and almost reached the final of the Champions League last season, the 23-year-old goalkeeper has been attracting a lot of attention in recent months. Apparently, both Tottenham Hotspur, who have lost the services of captain Hugo Lloris for a long time due to a broken elbow, and Paris Saint-Germain have asked Ajax to keep them informed on any potential intention to sell Onana.
The Cameroon international himself spoke about the future recently, and highlighted a desire to play in the Premier League. And though that in itself seemed a boost for Spurs at first, it appears to have put others on alert as well.
Despite handing David De Gea a new £350,000-a-week contract just a few months ago, United are keen to add Onana to their numbers.
