Sky Sports report that they’ve been told Manchester United is the likeliest destination for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho this summer.
The 20-time English champions were very keen to sign the 21-year-old winger last year, but their effort came too late for the Bundesliga side to give proper consideration and reportedly fell rather short of Dortmund’s valuation of €120 million.
United’s interest, however, remained firm throughout the 2020-21 season, and though other clubs have been mentioned as potential suitors too, they apparently lead the race for Sancho’s signature.
As for Dortmund, they are now believed to be willing to lower the price quoted a year ago and accept an offer of around €90 million. What’s more, they have already started sounding out potential replacements should a deal go through, even though they haven’t yet received any official bids for the services of the England international.
Personal terms are not thought to be a problem for United.
