German international midfielder Toni Kroos has emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United.
Spanish outlet Don Balon is reporting that Red Devils hierarchy want to bring Real Madrid star to replace Paul Pogba, who is once again being linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
The Frenchman is reportedly a target for La Liga title holders Barcelona. Blaugranas have already started making pressure on the Manchester United midfielder with Barcelona players commenting on Pogba’s potential transfer on daily basis.
Manchester United have thus already started making a contingency plan and are turning their attention to their long-term target, Toni Kroos.
The Red Devils are said to have already approached the Germany midfielder in June with Diario Gol claiming that even Manchester City were involved in a €150 million race for the Real Madrid star.
Hitting back to the rumours emerging in Spanish press, the Catalan daily Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Toni Kroos would have no intention of leaving Santiago Bernabeu.
