Manchester United have started talking to the representatives of Arturo Vidal over a potential transfer from Barcelona in January, according to Mirror.
The Chilean is said to be frustrated by the lack of game-time at the Camp Nou under head coach Ernesto Valverde, and he recently said himself he needed to feel important at the club. If that isn’t happening at Barceolona, he will have to consider his options soon. Valverde responded publicly by claiming he felt no pressure to put Vidal into the team any more than his plan was before.
United are looking to take advantage of the situation and offer the 32-year-old what he seeks – a regular place in the team.
On the other hand, reports in Italy, namely from Gazzetta dello Sport, suggest Vidal isn’t interested in a move to Old Trafford at the moment, as he waits to see if it would be possible to join Antonio Conte at Inter Milan.
