Man United not going after Fernandes?

According to a recent report from Manchester Evening News, Premier League side Manchester United have decided not to make an offer for Bruno Fernandes once the January transfer window gets underway once again. Fernandes has been heavily connected with a switch to Old Trafford over the course of the entire summer transfer window, but it never quite came to fruition. United certainly appeared to be dragging their feet in a big way with a number of transfers, deciding to take their time instead of going in for the kill. That definitely seems to have hurt them as opposed to helping them in the long run, and as we look ahead to the future, not going for Fernandes seems like a risk given how much they had already invested into the idea of securing his services.

Either way, we can’t imagine this saga being over and done with just yet – or for a while, yet.
