Man United pursue Lewandowski

According to a recent report from Sport, Manchester United plan on stepping up their pursuit of Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski.

For the last few months there’s been a lot of talk surrounding Robert Lewandowski and what exactly he plans on doing beyond the summer transfer window. Some still hold out hope that he’ll remain in Germany, but the majority of folks understand that his time with Bayern is probably coming to an end.

United have been particularly persistent in recent times regarding their interest in him, mainly because of their current forward situation at the club.

Mason Greenwood may never play for them again, Cristiano Ronaldo has been tipped to depart Old Trafford and Edinson Cavani is also likely to find pastures new.

The Red Devils may need to secure Champions League football first because if they can’t, someone like Lewandowski may prefer a stint with a club that can reach that level.
