One of the highly sought-after footballers during the summer window, Radja Nainggolan is once again emerging as a hot transfer target.
The Giallorossi star had been heavily linked with a move away from AS Roma and preferably to the Premier League, but the Belgian power engine remained in Italy and extended his deal with the Serie A heavyweights to confirm his dedication and commitment.
The 29-year-old was wanted by Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, who appears to be refusing to give up on the top-class midfielder.
The Portuguese tactician is said to have dispatched a scout to Italy last week to monitor the Belgian during the Champions League goalless draw against Atletico Madrid.
Manchester United are looking at replacements for veteran midfielder Michael Carrick and Nainggolan is said to be top of Jose Mourinho’s wishlist.
Nainggolan scored 11 goals in 37 Serie A appearances last season, while he already managed to get his name on the scoresheet once during three league matches in the new season.
