Manchester United could lose Paul Pogba this summer, but it looks like the giants from Old Trafford have made their mind on which player would replace the controversial Frenchman – Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen. It was reported today that Man United would want to earn £162m pounds on Pogba sale, probably to Real Madrid, and in that case, they would start the chase for the Danish playmaker.
The Evening Standard reports that Eriksen has expressed his desire to leave North London and join a new club, in order to find a new challenge after successful years at Tottenham Hotspur. He is now Man United’s first choice if Pogba actually leaves this summer, and that would also fit in Spurs’ new direction in the transfer market.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side already signed a combative and technical midfielder in Tanguy Ndombele and they are also close to finding an agreement in getting Dani Ceballos on loan from Real Madrid. In that case, they would be equipped for the next season if Eriksen actually leaves.
