Manchester United are preparing for a January transfer window and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly eager to see new signings arrive at Old Trafford early into 2020. There were numerous links with Serie A strikers, as it was suggested United could go after either Mario Mandzukic or Edin Dzeko.
But Sky Sports are now claiming that Man United have identified Everton centre-forward Richarlison as their January transfer target. The Brazilian is one of the main players at Goodison Park and the Red Devils are monitoring him with a view to launching a bid when the market reopens in 2020.
Richarlison played in all 12 Premier League matches for the Toffees, scoring three goals and setting up another two. This move from Man United would not come cheap as Everton would not want to lose one of their main assets, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eager to increase his attacking options to boost United’s chances of finishing in the top four at the end of season.
