Manchester United have a terrible season behind them, but they still made just a single signing. Daniel James is expected to be announced later this week as the first signing of the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer era, but this past weekend we have seen reports about Devils sending an offer for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Crystal Palace swiftly rejected the offer for their right-back, but Man United are expected to continue their pursuit of the player. Man United reportedly bid £35m for the youngster, but Palace are believed to value him at much higher £60m.
Wan-Bissaka had a great first season in Premier League, being one of the most consistent players in Roy Hodgson’s team. Solskjaer really want to sign him, but Palace could be doing their best to stave them off and keep the player for another year. While Wan-Bissaka remains Solskjaer’s first choice signing for the right back position, he is open to cheaper alternatives including Thomas Meunier of PSG.
