Man United to offer Pogba lucrative new deal

Manchester United are set to open talks with Paul Pogba over a lucrative new contract, which would see the French midfielder become their highest-paid player in a bid to keep his services for four more years, according to the Mirror.

Mino Raiola, the ‘superagent’ who represents Pogba, recently spoke about his future and made it clear his client was keen on winning major trophies, either at United or somewhere else. But it seems the Red Devils might win the Europa League this term, having beaten AS Roma in the first leg of the semifinal this week by 6-2. They are consequently very close to reaching the final, where they would face either Villarreal or Arsenal.

United are determined not to see the 28-year-old leave for free when his current deal expires next year, and to that end, they would be open to a sale this summer if he doesn’t agree to sign the contract they’re preparing for him, which would apparently have him earning £400,000 per week.
