The future of Ivan Toney remains unclear at the moment, with Brentford keen to keep hold of their star striker while a number of top English clubs are showing interest in his services. Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United stand out as the teams in need of a new striker, and while Chelsea steadily turn their focus towards Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, much has been said about Arsenal’s interest in Toney, but according to TeamTalk, Manchester United are best placed to land the 27-year-old hitman.
Toney is currently doing well to make up for lost ground due to his eight-month suspension, with two goals scored already from three appearances for Thomas Frank’s team. Once on the verge of a regular place in the England squad, he will surely need to buckle down and prove his quality consistently in order to convince Gareth Southgate to name him in his squad for the upcoming Euros.
