According to a recent report from Manchester Evening News, Manchester United will be demanding at least £25 million in order to agree to the sale of Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean is currently out on loan with Inter Milan, with the belief being that his days at Old Trafford, in an official capacity, are numbered.
Sanchez had a poor first spell at United, during which time he was unable to really get into the kind of rhythm that we were used to seeing from him at Arsenal. While the expectation is that he’ll officially leave the first chance he gets, you’d have to imagine that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be more than willing to bring him on for another chance if he is able to prove himself within Inter’s starting XI.
£25 million would certainly serve as a big loss for United based on what they paid for him in the first place but at this stage, we’re not so sure they even care.
