According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Premier League side Manchester United are more than willing to make a bid for Lyon forward Moussa Dembele during the summer transfer window. Dembele scored two nice goals against Arsenal during a recent friendly, with the belief being that he would cost United somewhere in the region of £40 million. With a few big signings in their back pocket already some fans will be wondering whether or not the club would be willing to stump up this kind of cash. Given how bottomless their funds seem to be at the moment, however, we can’t imagine that there’s going to be all too much of an issue.
This move would almost certainly be done in response to Romelu Lukaku’s potential departure from Old Trafford, with the Belgian moving closer and closer towards joining Italian side Inter Milan.
Either way, though, it seems like United aren’t done yet in the transfer market.
