According to Sport Bild, Douglas Costa is now considered to be one of the primary targets for Manchester United. The Red Devils are starting to put a plan together in the wake of Jose Mourinho’s departure from the club, and Costa is the right kind of man for them to go after given that he hasn’t really been playing in the first team much ever since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.
He’s believed to be available to them for around €40 million, despite only arriving at Juve earlier this year. He was also with the Italian champions in 2017 but only on a loan basis from Bayern Munich.
The 28 year old is still in the prime of his career and it seems like he has a lot more to offer, although there will be some apprehension as to whether or not he’d be used properly at Old Trafford given how many top stars have failed there in the last few years.
