Marcus Rashford’s contract at Manchester United expires in the summer of 2024, and manager Erik ten Hag says it’s an absolute priority of the club to get the England international to sign a new one as soon as possible.
The 25-year-old forward has enjoyed somewhat of a renaissance since Ten Hag took over ahead of the season’s start, and he has so far netted 22 goals along with eight assists in 35 appearances in all competitions this term. His form has particularly taken off after the World Cup – since the tournament in Qatar ended, he scored eight goal in nine Premier League games.
His name has mostly been mentioned in reports about Paris Saint-Germain and their potential need to replace Kylian Mbappe, should the France international leave to join Real Madrid in the near future.
With that in mind, it would certainly be wise for United to get Rashford to sign a new deal as soon as possible, though it has also been reported that they’ve put a £120m price tag on him to try and deter potential suitors.
