Man United’s big Felix bid rejected

According to a recent report from AS, Manchester United’s bid to sign Joao Felix has been rejected by Atletico Madrid.

Atletico understand that there’s a lot of money to be made in them letting Felix go but as per this report, they’re pointing towards his release clause of €350 million and aren’t willing to let him go for less than that – despite United offering a respectable €130 million.

The Red Devils are clearly hungry to bring in a new body before the end of the summer transfer window and it’s not hard to see why, given that they’re bottom of the Premier League table after just two games.

Erik ten Hag knows and understands the pressure that’s going to be on his shoulders between now and the end of the campaign and if he wants to ease some of it, he needs to go hard or go home, which is what Atletico are preventing him from doing here.
