Manchester United is trying to hurt Real Madrid in the same way that the Spanish club is trying to bring the European champions down. Reports linking Robinho and Sergio Ramos with a move to Manchester United are beginning to gather real pace, and today we have actually had a response from one of the players.
Well, Robinho had already commented on the matter, so it was Sergio Ramos’ turn. The Spanish full-back said, while on duty with the Spanish national team that interest from such big clubs mean good things for him. Although he did quickly add that he is happy with the contract he has at Real Madrid, according to Goal.com.
“It is a good sign that such big teams are interested in me, but not I have no ideas about that,
“I have a good contract with Madrid and I am focused on the Spanish team. When the European Championships finish we can see what happens.” Said Ramos.
This link between Manchester United and Real Madrid courting each other’s player could be the beginning of a part-exchange deal starting to take place. Cristiano Ronaldo would move one way while Manchester United would be blessed with the presence of Robinho and Sergio Ramos. However, before going any further, Manchester United should realize that such a deal would still be a defeat in the Ronaldo saga.
