Man United’s Varane negotiations continue

According to a recent report from Mirror, Manchester United and Real Madrid are still some distance off in their valuation of Raphael Varane.

The Real defender seems to be edging closer and closer towards the exit door at the Bernabeu with heavy speculation that he’s on his way to Manchester United, although if this report is to believed, it may not happen quite as quickly as some folks think.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set for a pretty big summer transfer window with Jadon Sancho reportedly half way through the door, but if they’re serious about making a push for the Premier League title, they’ll need some serious reinforcements in order to compete with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.

Based on what we’ve seen, Varane would be one hell of a defensive signing and could partner up brilliantly with Harry Maguire at the back – provided the chemistry is there.
