French magazine So Foot has suggested that Manchester United are considering a summer bid for Saint-Etienne defender Kevin Malcuit.
The Red Devils are short of options on the right flank and the 25-year-old is one of the first names on their hit-list.
Manchester United coaching staff had a perfect opportunity to make a check on the talented footballer when the two sides met in the Europa League last 32 stage.
Malcuit seems to have done enough to persuade the Premier League side to make a move at the end of the current season.
The Saint Etienne full-back needed quite some time to reach the big stage as he represented Monaco, Vannes, Frejus St-Raphael and Niort before finally joining les Verts.
He was the subject of a January bid from West Ham United, but his employers did not think the offer was good enough.
